After more than 35 years of marriage and working side by side, Carlo and Laura have built both a family and a lifelong career in the fashion industry. While raising their four children, they developed a deep understanding of every aspect of the business through decades of hands-on experience, dedication, and partnership.
Carlo's passion for fashion began early, growing up in a family ladieswear retail business before transitioning into wholesale at a young age. Together, Carlo and Laura became highly respected sales representatives across Western Canada for more than 30 years, representing leading women's fashion collections and building lasting relationships throughout the industry.
Over the years, their experience expanded into manufacturing, importing, and eventually operating their family retail business, which proudly spans more than 50 years. Their entrepreneurial spirit and industry knowledge allowed them to successfully adapt and grow through every stage of the evolving fashion landscape.
Ten years ago, they relocated from Vancouver to Vancouver Island, embracing a new chapter both personally and professionally. Six years ago, after retiring from their Western Canada agency business, they launched another successful venture introducing women's fashion collections into Australia and New Zealand. Their expertise also led them into consulting, where they continue to work with select companies on restructuring, strategic growth, and developing U.S. markets.
Today, their new direction with these companies is focused on partnering with retailers to help grow gross profit margins and build long-term success in today's evolving retail environment. Carlo and Laura bring together decades of industry insight, global experience, and a genuine passion for fashion and people — values that continue to inspire everything they do.
