Carlo was born into the fashion industry. His family operated six ladies wear retail stores for over 50 years — so when it came time to build something of his own, he knew exactly what independent retailers needed, because he'd grown up watching them work.
Carlo and Laura met working in wholesale and built their agency together, spending 32 years representing quality brands across Western Canada. The relationships they built weren't just business — they were friendships, built on shared values and a commitment to doing things properly.

How we got here.
The Agency is Founded
Carlo and Laura establish Carlo Brizzi Agency in Vancouver, BC. Drawing on decades of retail and wholesale experience, they set out to build a different kind of agency — one focused on genuine relationships and fair terms.
Growing Across Western Canada
Over three decades, Carlo and Laura build a network of over 300 retail partners across Western Canada. Their reputation for quality product and honest dealing sets them apart in a crowded wholesale market.
Retirement — and a New Chapter
After decades in the industry, Carlo and Laura retire to a farm on Vancouver Island. The plan was to slow down. The industry had other ideas.
Called Back for Dolcezza
Carlo and Laura are called back to help launch Dolcezza across Australia and New Zealand. What started as a short-term commitment became the foundation for a new phase of the agency — expanding their reach to three continents.
Expanding Into the US
Carlo Brizzi Agency now represents multiple brands across Australia, New Zealand, and the United States — with the same values, the same standards, and the same commitment to the independent retailers who have always been at the heart of the business.
